My story
Hi, I’m Isla.
If you asked me what I love most, the answer is simple discovering somewhere new.
Whether it’s hopping on a plane to the other side of the world, taking a spontaneous road trip around Scotland or finding a hidden gem just a few miles from home, I’ve always believed there’s a story waiting around every corner.
Travel has shaped so much of who I am. It has taken me to 68 countries, introduced me to incredible people and given me experiences I’ll never forget. Along the way, I’ve built a career in the travel industry, creating memorable experiences and helping others discover the world too.
Loving the Journeys is where all those passions come together. It’s a space to share adventures, tell authentic stories and celebrate the moments that make travelling whether near or far so special.
I’m a firm believer that you don’t always need a passport to experience something amazing. Some of my favourite days have been spent exploring places close to home with nothing more than a camera, a good playlist and a bit of curiosity.
When I’m not creating content, you’ll usually find me planning my next adventure, hunting down the best local coffee stops or convincing friends that taking the scenic route is always worth it.
For me, it’s never just about the destination it’s about the journey, the memories you make along the way and the stories you take home.
